Method 1 :
- Go to Control Panel.
- Under the Programs and Features, select uninstall a program.
- A list of programs currently installed in your PC will be displayed.
- Navigate to Chrome in the list.
- Double click it.
- It’ll ask your confirmation.
- Confirm to uninstall Chrome from your PC.
- To delete your profile information, like bookmarks and history, check "Also delete your browsing data."
Method 2 : (Exclusive to Windows 10)
- On your computer, close all Chrome windows and tabs.
- Click the Start menu Settings.
- Click System.
- On the left, click Apps and features.
- Find and click Google Chrome.
- Click uninstall.
- Confirm by clicking uninstall.
- To delete your profile information, like bookmarks and history, check "Also delete your browsing data."
If you’re getting errors, then better follow this :
- Go to the drive where Windows 10 is installed. (C: in most of the cases)
- Go to Program Files -> Google -> Chrome.
- Shift+Delete the entire folder.
- If any error occurs, then take the ownership of the folder. Follow this : Add Take Ownership to Context Menu in Windows 10
- Now delete the folder.
- Reboot. This method would work for sure.
